He was declared dead for six minutes, broke 11 bones, and was told he might never walk again. But Hal refused to accept that reality. He focused on what he could control—his mindset and actions.
During his recovery, Hal discovered the power of morning rituals. By integrating various practices into his daily routine, he not only regained his physical health but also transformed his mental and emotional well-being. This experience led him to write The Miracle Morning and share this life-changing routine with the world.

Later, Hal faced another life-altering challenge: a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Once again, he relied on the principles of The Miracle Morning to stay positive, focused, and resilient throughout his treatment and recovery. These experiences reinforced his belief in the power of a purposeful morning routine.
