Success involves conflict and not just the kind that is sexy for the magazines. We have all heard the stories of founders who have not been able to raise money in time or who are trying to keep their head above water while their team starts to fragment and fall apart. But the conflict we hear so little about is the sobering reality of an Entrepreneur’s inner conflict.
I think entrepreneurship ultimately is the school of life. I cannot think of anything else that teaches you more about yourself than starting your own business. It will push you, it will test you, it will crush you but those experiences are essential to your future success. Just like fine wine is made by pressing grapes, I think the best version of ourselves comes when we are pressed.
The journey towards success is one of deconstruction, of brokenness, of pressing, and of conflict. Whenever you see someone smile on a podcast, a YouTube video, or on stage please see them also as human. As people who have overcome great conflict and hardship, hurt, and brokenness.
So whether someone is in pursuit of their first $100K, first Million, or first billion know they are just as human as you and I; going through life trying to make the best of it. My story is no different. I am a man who is broken, fallen, and hurting just like everyone else; I just serve a great God who keeps taking me to the next level.
If you want to talk confidentially about any struggles in your professional journey please send me a message here. I would love to come alongside you and help in any way possible.

You’ve hit this nail on the head in this refreshingly transparent blog post Dan!! Success is never easy and often the facades we feel we must wear on social media doesn’t make the realities of the journey any easier. Thanks for being you and affirming the inner conflict that many of us face. I’m encouraged to face my own doubts head on this week. Thank you.
